In the 9th minute Mustafa Birol Toper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taner Yay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bayram Kapar hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 12 minutes, Sancar Baydar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the fc turix and the Bostanci FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The coaching staff of fc turix protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Brain Van Cruchten had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 28 minutes into the game, one of fc turix:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some careless play in the Bostanci FK defense, Jozo Brajović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kuddusî Yalgın. The Bostanci FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kuddusî Yalgın should have stopped the shot. Kuddusî Yalgın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İsmail Orhun Ramiz in the 61st minute of the match. In the 66th minute Arif Oğuz Saver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taner Yay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tuncay Barkan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Taner Yay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play.
