The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes ANADOLU ERCİYES FC got a freekick which was hit by Phil Topham. 柯傲阳 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaşar Nuri Gencay in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Yürekli TÜRK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gazanfer Özcan Turabi to maneuver through the defense. Yürekli TÜRK's Bahattin Temizel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Longo in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ANADOLU ERCİYES FC's zone, Mahsun Cabir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 柯傲阳 came out of the goal and Mahsun Cabir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 柯傲阳 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olcay Orkun Arınç, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Olcay Orkun Arınç kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Bahattin Temizel came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by ANADOLU ERCİYES FC's Sammy Longo. But to his dismay, Sammy Longo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 28th minute, Olcay Orkun Arınç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute Mehmet Efe Şabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahattin Temizel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 柯傲阳 was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Yaşar Nuri Gencay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yaşar Nuri Gencay really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cenan Fırat during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mehmet Efe Şabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Bahattin Temizel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sammy Longo to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ogün Ramiz in the 54th minute of play forced ANADOLU ERCİYES FC's goalkeeper 柯傲阳 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esat Bakkalbaşı's late challenge caught a ANADOLU ERCİYES FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esat Bakkalbaşı helped the player get up and apologised. Bahattin Temizel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hami Sina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ogün Ramiz's late challenge caught a ANADOLU ERCİYES FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ogün Ramiz helped the player get up and apologised. Ogün Ramiz kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hami Sina in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bahattin Temizel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Phil Topham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mahsun Cabir took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 柯傲阳. 柯傲阳 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A collision led to ANADOLU ERCİYES FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Hami Sina hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Bektaş Ali Hürmüz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, ANADOLU ERCİYES FC's Cenan Fırat got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Olcay Orkun Arınç scored 3-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 柯傲阳, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bektaş Ali Hürmüz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 柯傲阳 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaşar Nuri Gencay in the 81st minute of the match. Bahattin Temizel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute Yaşar Nuri Gencay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 柯傲阳 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute Mehmet Efe Şabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahattin Temizel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ANADOLU ERCİYES FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
