The referee felt a red card was in order, 4 minutes into the game, when Mazhar Akdiken put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Geyikspor booed when ERZURUMSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mazhar Akdiken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karhan Özan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Durmuş İldeniz. ERZURUMSPOR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Geyikspor's goal looked a bit too open when Botello Pinto came free, but Ahmet Ziya Ülgen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Tahsin Şevki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geyikspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ERZURUMSPOR the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Geyikspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tahsin Şevki to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the game, Yağızhan Bilgiç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ERZURUMSPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Geyikspor the free kick. Yağızhan Bilgiç kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Geyikspor's Cengizhan Uludağ got a free kick in the 24th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Ali Atıf İnanöz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Botello Pinto in the 33rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Botello Pinto in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Ziya Ülgen saved Geyikspor from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Cengizhan Uludağ managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geyikspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Cengizhan Uludağ was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Durmuş İldeniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Durmuş İldeniz came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Geyikspor's Yahya Vechi. But to his dismay, Yahya Vechi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 46 played minutes Geyikspor got a freekick which was hit by Ali Atıf İnanöz.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rıfkı Nasih stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Botello Pinto in the 56th minute of play forced Geyikspor's goalkeeper Ahmet Ziya Ülgen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Botello Pinto in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Ziya Ülgen saved Geyikspor from getting behind. A collision led to Geyikspor getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Özer Demirağ hit a great ball. Geyikspor's Ahmet Ziya Ülgen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Botello Pinto in the 65th minute of play. After 69 played minutes ERZURUMSPOR got a freekick which was hit by 李南西. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aysan Demirbaş in the 76th minute of play. Botello Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mete Uraltay, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Botello Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Botello Pinto in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Ziya Ülgen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ahmet Ziya Ülgen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Botello Pinto in the 96th minute of the match. The ERZURUMSPOR supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Geyikspor's performance. The match ended with a win for Geyikspor.
