GENC KARTAL's Özalp Cansefa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cengiz Oyal lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. GENC KARTAL's Münir Adışanlı got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The GENC KARTAL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Özalp Cansefa should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Aydos Spor A.Ş fully deserved thier win.
