Spectators: 7842 (Terracing: 5883, Seating: 1803, VIP seats: 156) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lorenzo Sergi started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lorenzo Sergi in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Okaner Baytugay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Cícero de Lima took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Hüseyin Turan Cesman to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cícero de Lima in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hüseyin Turan Cesman saved GALATASARAY SK from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cícero de Lima got free with Hüseyin Turan Cesman in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY SK's goalkeeper Hüseyin Turan Cesman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cícero de Lima. The supporters of Maraşkent FK booed when GALATASARAY SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timo Rea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Okaner Baytugay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Turan Tamerkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Maraşkent FK's Okaner Baytugay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Sergi in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match GALATASARAY SK got a corner. Maraşkent FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Francesco Di Luca ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hüseyin Turan Cesman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cícero de Lima's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Cícero de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüseyin Turan Cesman having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, GALATASARAY SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derviş Tuğbay to maneuver through the defense. GALATASARAY SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Cícero de Lima scored to the left of an out of position Hüseyin Turan Cesman, making the score, 3-0. Hüseyin Turan Cesman was a little too slow when Cícero de Lima got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 4-0. Cícero de Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cícero de Lima to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY SK's Timo Rea got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Cícero de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hüseyin Turan Cesman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero de Lima in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cícero de Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hüseyin Turan Cesman was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Hüseyin Turan Cesman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halim Uçman in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Maraşkent FK's goalkeeper Okaner Baytugay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Sergi. In the 59th minute, Casper Forssell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hüseyin Turan Cesman was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 61 minutes into the game, İsmail Hakkı Ünalp threw the ball into play from the sideline. GALATASARAY SK's Ahmet Harun Şen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to GALATASARAY SK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Refik Halit Ekici hit a great ball. Hüseyin Turan Cesman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tansel Akdoğan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hüseyin Turan Cesman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Forssell, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 77 minutes, Cícero de Lima made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. GALATASARAY SK's Hüseyin Turan Cesman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Maraşkent FK fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Maraşkent FK's Cícero de Lima looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 82 minutes into the match, Maraşkent FK's Cícero de Lima sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hüseyin Turan Cesman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 86 minutes, Cícero de Lima made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. GALATASARAY SK's Hüseyin Turan Cesman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gian-Carlo Irizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Maraşkent FK fully deserved thier win.
