The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of TRABZONSPOR booed when Esentepe JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Yahya Reyyan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kerem Perver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Vidman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Ercan Ersever had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Gencalp Bağışhan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Gencalp Bağışhan scored 3-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ercan Ersever, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gringo Hendrickx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerem Perver having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Can Sazak rounded TRABZONSPOR's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-3. In the 82nd minute, Gencalp Bağışhan fired a really elegant long shot, but Ercan Ersever threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After 97 played minutes TRABZONSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Arif Ünalmış. Esentepe JK's Gencalp Bağışhan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 98th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for TRABZONSPOR. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. TRABZONSPOR fully deserved thier win.
