Hernan Cuarto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Murat Selim Yılma took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hernan Cuarto. Yildirim SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Selami Uram hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the game, Reinaldo Sousa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Hernan Cuarto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hernan Cuarto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregorio Moreno in the 26th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Victor Creangă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yildirim SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Creangă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vatan Torehan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hernan Cuarto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Efe Orun in the 32nd minute of the match. If Reinaldo Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Yildirim SK's Hernan Cuarto got control of the ball when Gregorio Moreno tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute, Gregorio Moreno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hernan Cuarto. The goal made the score 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gregorio Moreno to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Reinaldo Sousa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hernan Cuarto was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Murat Selim Yılma kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 57thth minute of the game Gregorio Moreno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yildirim SK's Hernan Cuarto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nazım Kırca charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nazım Kırca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th match minute, Yildirim SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nazım Kırca to maneuver through the defense. Hernan Cuarto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Hernan Cuarto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. A collision led to Yildirim SK getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Adam İzmirli hit a great ball. If Gregorio Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernan Cuarto came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by tatangalar's Reinaldo Sousa. But to his dismay, Reinaldo Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Yildirim SK's Hernan Cuarto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo Sousa in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of Yildirim SK booed when tatangalar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, a hard, long distance shot from Nazım Kırca hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. In the 86th minute, Gregorio Moreno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The tatangalar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tacettin Erek in the 93rd minute of play forced Yildirim SK's goalkeeper Hernan Cuarto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, tatangalar's goal looked a bit too open when Nazım Kırca came free, but Vatan Torehan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. tatangalar were victorious despite being under pressure from Yildirim SK for much of the match.
