GÖZTEPE SK's Utkan Ortaç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Román Diaz in the 19th minute of play. Utkan Ortaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Román Diaz in the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Erzin Spor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ersin Oğuzhan was slow to take the kick. During this time GÖZTEPE SK's players had a chance to rest. In the 31st minute Mürsel Özertem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Utkan Ortaç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Penalty! 97 minutes into the match, Erzin Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Flores came free, but Muhammed Kartal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, GÖZTEPE SK could leave the field as winners, despite Erzin Spor having more of the ball for most of the match.
