ＡＳＹＡ's Orkun Işıldar got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hakan Necaettin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Epifanío Ramírez in the 38th minute. After 40 minutes, Necip Fazıl İlsak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ＡＳＹＡ and the Ezgi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, ＡＳＹＡ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necip Fazıl İlsak to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the game, Cavit Songurhan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hakan Necaettin. Cavit Songurhan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nazil Özdel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Epifanío Ramírez scored 8-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hakan Necaettin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 54th minute Epifanío Ramírez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hakan Necaettin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hakan Necaettin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
