Raimond Vaide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baybars Urangu having to interfere. Baybars Urangu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimond Vaide's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Mikael Fernkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baybars Urangu. Merzifon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikael Fernkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. DOĞUBAYAZIT U21's Sermet Tekrim got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baybars Urangu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Fernkvist in the 13th minute of play. Mikael Fernkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 0-4 became the score in the 24th minute when Raimond Vaide elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Mikael Fernkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Baybars Urangu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Mikael Fernkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baybars Urangu was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimond Vaide in the 31st minute of play forced Merzifon's goalkeeper Baybars Urangu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bayram Yerlikaya made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Gencer Şensal sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the game, Mikael Fernkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Baybars Urangu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Baybars Urangu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimond Vaide, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Baybars Urangu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Fernkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Raimond Vaide left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DOĞUBAYAZIT U21 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. The Merzifon players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. DOĞUBAYAZIT U21 were winning 0-7.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melih Cevdet Tuğaltan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Raimond Vaide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Baybars Urangu managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when DOĞUBAYAZIT U21's Mikael Fernkvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Çakır Bengisoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Bayram Yerlikaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mikael Fernkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mikael Fernkvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Baybars Urangu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Raimond Vaide received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baybars Urangu came out and tried to block the shot, but Raimond Vaide slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 64th minute. With a little luck, Merzifon's Baybars Urangu got control of the ball when Mikael Fernkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Mikael Fernkvist got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Raimond Vaide managed to get in a good position for a shot. DOĞUBAYAZIT U21's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimond Vaide was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baybars Urangu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baybars Urangu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimond Vaide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baybars Urangu was a little too slow when Raimond Vaide got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-12. Çakır Bengisoy kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Raimond Vaide got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
