The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, MERT FC's Naci Kaynak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mustafa Hakan Yayalp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Stålberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Mustafa Hakan Yayalp skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dursun Ekinci prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
