The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ziemowit Soroka in the 3rd minute of play forced BordoMavi's goalkeeper Kamuran Hanedan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute Namık Kemal Salur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamuran Hanedan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute of the match Tarsus İdman Yurdu got a corner. BordoMavi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ciprian Bârlea ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Tarsus İdman Yurdu's Namık Kemal Salur to fire away a dangerous shot which Kamuran Hanedan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tarsus İdman Yurdu were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after BordoMavi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciprian Bârlea took the corner. After taking down the ball on Tarsus İdman Yurdu's corner Ciprian Bârlea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kamuran Hanedan quite easily take care of the ball. Baturay Seralp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulu Hayırlı's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Samir Handanovič skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Samir Handanovič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Efe Çakar in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Ulu Hayırlı made a precise shot to the right of Samir Handanovič. Tarsus İdman Yurdu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A throw-in in the 31st minute of the game was made by Gani Açıkgöz with Ezequiel Petri as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Gani Açıkgöz made in the 33rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ezequiel Petri immediately put the ball in play. Ciprian Bârlea went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Baturay Seralp heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Kamuran Hanedan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ziemowit Soroka's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. The Tarsus İdman Yurdu fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Tarsus İdman Yurdu's Ziemowit Soroka looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

Ziemowit Soroka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samir Handanovič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulu Hayırlı in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Efe Çakar in the 54th minute of play forced Tarsus İdman Yurdu's goalkeeper Samir Handanovič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juli Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Samir Handanovič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ziemowit Soroka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tarsus İdman Yurdu's goalkeeper Samir Handanovič, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Juli Alvarez sped through Tarsus İdman Yurdu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Samir Handanovič. Gani Açıkgöz made in the 72nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ulu Hayırlı. 74 minutes in the game Gani Açıkgöz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ulu Hayırlı. BordoMavi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Namık Kemal Ortaçgil in the 76th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Wambasther Ribéry got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-1. 77 minutes into the match. Samir Handanovič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wambasther Ribéry in the 81st minute of play. Kamuran Hanedan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ziemowit Soroka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 minutes BordoMavi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ciprian Bârlea who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ciprian Bârlea almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BordoMavi's Kamuran Hanedan did a great save. After a rather tough play, BordoMavi's Ezequiel Petri got a free kick in the 88th minute. Tarsus İdman Yurdu's Samir Handanovič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juli Alvarez in the 90th minute of play. The throw-in from Gani Açıkgöz in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tarsus İdman Yurdu's Baturay Seralp. Ziemowit Soroka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
