Kamuran Hanedan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 8th match minute, MERT FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raik Ağın to maneuver through the defense. BordoMavi's Kamuran Hanedan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naci Kaynak in the 10th minute of play. In the 13thth minute of the game Daniel Stålberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BordoMavi's Kamuran Hanedan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 13 minutes, Daniel Stålberg made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. BordoMavi's Kamuran Hanedan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16thth minute of the game Naci Kaynak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BordoMavi's Kamuran Hanedan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by MERT FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Namık Kemal Ortaçgil was slow to take the kick. During this time BordoMavi's players had a chance to rest. BordoMavi's Namık Kemal Ortaçgil was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dursun Ekinci in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, MERT FC's Dursun Ekinci got control of the ball when Ulu Hayırlı tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, BordoMavi's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Orhan Kutulmuş came free, but Kamuran Hanedan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Ahmet Orhan Kutulmuş heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Kamuran Hanedan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Orhan Kutulmuş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dursun Ekinci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulu Hayırlı in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, BordoMavi's goal looked a bit too open when Barışcan Günay came free, but Kamuran Hanedan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the BordoMavi defense, Daniel Stålberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kamuran Hanedan. The BordoMavi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kamuran Hanedan should have stopped the shot. After having played for 47 minutes, Ahmet Orhan Kutulmuş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MERT FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Orhan Kutulmuş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Naci Kaynak made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind BordoMavi's goalkeeper Kamuran Hanedan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 54 minutes into the game, BordoMavi's Juli Alvarez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dursun Ekinci made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. A collision led to MERT FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Raik Ağın hit a great ball. Dursun Ekinci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulu Hayırlı in the 59th minute of the match. BordoMavi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Namık Kemal Ortaçgil in the 61st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Efe Çakar during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of MERT FC booed when BordoMavi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Efe Çakar didn't get a good kick on the ball.
