In the 14th minute Gong Hong Zhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alp Koral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, CİMBOMBOM's goal looked a bit too open when Gong Hong Zhan came free, but Alp Koral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Sezen Arısal lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Mustafa Hakan Yayalp. The Kilyos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gong Hong Zhan to make the kick off. When Eliodor Stoica came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the CİMBOMBOM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliodor Stoica couldn't finish the play. Mustafa Hakan Yayalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sezen Arısal in the 57th minute of play. Kilyos FC's Mustafa Hakan Yayalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Pessoa in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Fábio Pessoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Hakan Yayalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Kilyos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sezen Arısal came free, but Mustafa Hakan Yayalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sezen Arısal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Hakan Yayalp having to interfere. CİMBOMBOM's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
