Boris Brechbilder hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. MERT FC's Ahmet Orhan Kutulmuş shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mustafa Cumhur Suergin but with some difficulty. In the 5th minute of the game Sakut Şanlı made a throw-in which Aurelian Caciulescu played forward. 7 minutes into the match, MERT FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Çağrı Tecelli came free, but Dursun Ekinci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dursun Ekinci stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Çağrı Tecelli's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After some careless play in the MERT FC defense, Ahmet Çağrı Tecelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dursun Ekinci. The MERT FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dursun Ekinci should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Sakut Şanlı in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by İdmanocağı FK's Yusuf Opoitsev. 16 minutes into the match, MERT FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Çağrı Tecelli came free, but Dursun Ekinci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match MERT FC got a corner. İdmanocağı FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ahmet Orhan Kutulmuş ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dursun Ekinci made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Güneş Baytüze sent off a good shot on target. Mustafa Cumhur Suergin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelian Caciulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sakut Şanlı kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Güneş Baytüze might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dursun Ekinci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Güneş Baytüze ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Güneş Baytüze sped through MERT FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dursun Ekinci.
