Kai Jønlev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Dursun Ekinci made a huge save. With a little luck, MERT FC's Dursun Ekinci got control of the ball when Kai Jønlev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcos Arandojo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naci Kaynak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Arandojo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Stålberg in the 9th minute of play. MERT FC's Şansal Taşcıoğlu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcos Arandojo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 14th minute Ahmet Orhan Kutulmuş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Arandojo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Arandojo came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by MERT FC's Ahmet Orhan Kutulmuş. But to his dismay, Ahmet Orhan Kutulmuş quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marcos Arandojo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Stålberg in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by MERT FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Liborius Schmid was slow to take the kick. During this time Talay SK's players had a chance to rest. 24 minutes into the match, MERT FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kai Jønlev came free, but Dursun Ekinci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yunus Şabi charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yunus Şabi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, Talay SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yunus Şabi to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Arandojo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Stålberg in the 27th minute of the match. Kai Jønlev in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dursun Ekinci, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 32 minutes into the match, Talay SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Orhan Kutulmuş came free, but Marcos Arandojo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kai Jønlev in the 37th minute of play forced MERT FC's goalkeeper Dursun Ekinci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kai Jønlev in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dursun Ekinci saved MERT FC from getting behind. Raik Ağın hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The Talay SK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MERT FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Naci Kaynak made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Naci Kaynak in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Arandojo saved Talay SK from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Naci Kaynak in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Arandojo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the match, Talay SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Orhan Kutulmuş came free, but Marcos Arandojo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to MERT FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Günay Doğanay hit a great ball. MERT FC's Dursun Ekinci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Neto in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, César Oviedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Talay SK's Lucas Torrea was substituted for Kai Jønlev. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Stålberg got free with Marcos Arandojo in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute Lucas Torrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dursun Ekinci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Torrea took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dursun Ekinci. Dursun Ekinci dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 74 minutes into the match, MERT FC's goal looked a bit too open when César Oviedo came free, but Dursun Ekinci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naci Kaynak in the 75th minute of play forced Talay SK's goalkeeper Marcos Arandojo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Kutlualp Koçak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, MERT FC's Ahmet Orhan Kutulmuş sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Arandojo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd match minute, Talay SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yavuz Bülent Lütufkâr to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Arandojo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naci Kaynak in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Torrea in the 85th minute of play forced MERT FC's goalkeeper Dursun Ekinci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dursun Ekinci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Torrea, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Talay SK booed when MERT FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rıfkı Hazarbeyoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute Lucas Torrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dursun Ekinci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
