An unexpectedly hard shot by Reşit Uludağ in the 40th minute of play forced LOTHLÓRIEN EAF's goalkeeper Talat Orhun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Talat Orhun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Corvo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Trygve Aabø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sertel Sadreddin couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd minute Fabrizio Corvo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Talat Orhun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sertel Sadreddin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Talat Orhun made a huge save. In the 90th minute of the match, Sertel Sadreddin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Talat Orhun was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
