The referee ignored Kilyos FC's protests and gave Torcato Pessoa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, Kilyos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torcato Pessoa to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Hakan Yayalp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aleksander Sundström in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Mustafa Hakan Yayalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdurrahman Ünsevin in the 50th minute of the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Talat Orhun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. LOTHLÓRIEN EAF's Talat Orhun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian-Federico Dolić in the 60th minute of play. Mustafa Hakan Yayalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trygve Aabø in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute Cristian-Federico Dolić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Talat Orhun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When LOTHLÓRIEN EAF's Aleksander Sundström, in the 65th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for LOTHLÓRIEN EAF. Bilge Özal kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match.
