The audience was convinced that Deng Xiang Ying's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Çağrı Açıker was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. A collision led to Zerdalitepe getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Deng Xiang Ying hit a great ball. Francisco Barrionuevo made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Armando Calisto sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Zerdalitepe's Garip Kadrican got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 44th minute Deng Xiang Ying shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Çağrı Açıker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Zerdalitepe were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Güner Özguven made a kick off. Mehmet Çağrı Açıker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deng Xiang Ying in the 51st minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Sungur Paşa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Francisco Barrionuevo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mehmet Çağrı Açıker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ray Ruth in the 62nd minute of the match. Cemalettin Türkoğlu got a throw-in 63 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Refik Hidayettin. Sungur Paşa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Barrionuevo having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Zerdalitepe's goal looked a bit too open when Oğuzalp Namal came free, but Francisco Barrionuevo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes, Güner Özguven made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. Zerdalitepe's Francisco Barrionuevo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute of the match, Ray Ruth got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mehmet Çağrı Açıker was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Francisco Barrionuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sungur Paşa in the 80th minute of the match. Armando Calisto hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. ATAKUM FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Deng Xiang Ying scored to the left of an out of position Mehmet Çağrı Açıker, making the score, 3-4. Ahmet Bedri Taşcan kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Zerdalitepe's goal looked a bit too open when Sungur Paşa came free, but Francisco Barrionuevo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Barrionuevo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuzalp Namal in the 91st minute of play. Francisco Barrionuevo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oğuzalp Namal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sungur Paşa in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Barrionuevo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hikmet Tükelay's late challenge caught a Zerdalitepe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hikmet Tükelay helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Zerdalitepe booed when ATAKUM FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hikmet Tükelay didn't get a good kick on the ball. ATAKUM FK's Özkan Akşin was substituted for Sungur Paşa. In the 96th match minute, ATAKUM FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hikmet Tükelay to maneuver through the defense. The Zerdalitepe players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
