Necmi Mutlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Necmi Mutlu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Afşar Rıfat when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Yunus Tacik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Indar, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Afşar Rıfat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Necmi Mutlu in the 14th minute of play. single star's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pedro Ubarna in the 15th minute. The supporters of single star booed when Black Stockings FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kutlay Hamurcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute Kutlay Hamurcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yunus Tacik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Black Stockings FC's Afşar Rıfat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necmi Mutlu in the 33rd minute of play. Batu Derviş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yunus Tacik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Indar in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, single star was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necmi Mutlu to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Necmi Mutlu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Entis Kartolo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afşar Rıfat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Necmi Mutlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kutlay Hamurcu charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kutlay Hamurcu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Black Stockings FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Kutlay Hamurcu hit a great ball. Afşar Rıfat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Necmi Mutlu's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After 61 played minutes Black Stockings FC got a freekick which was hit by Hayrullah Uğursay. With a little luck, single star's Yunus Tacik got control of the ball when Kutlay Hamurcu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Black Stockings FC's Jose Indar got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jose Indar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jose Indar scored 2-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yunus Tacik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in single star's zone, Kutlay Hamurcu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yunus Tacik came out of the goal and Kutlay Hamurcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jose Indar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yunus Tacik having to interfere. Yunus Tacik came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Black Stockings FC's Kutlay Hamurcu. But to his dismay, Kutlay Hamurcu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 89th minute, Jose Indar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yunus Tacik. The goal made the score 2-3. A collision led to Black Stockings FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Batu Derviş hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see single star lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
