The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Leon Rik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Altan Evcimen notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Gümüşhane's Özdemir Özgenc. Özdemir Özgenc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 9 minutes into the match, FC İnFaZ's Leon Rik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Özdemir Özgenc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hıdır İşçen made in the 15th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tamer Yetişbey however managed to control. Josué Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Sacit Vedat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Gümüşhane got a freekick which was hit by Miroslaw Tylenda. 20 minutes into the match, FC İnFaZ's Tamer Yetişbey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Özdemir Özgenc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leon Rik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Fernandez in the 26th minute of play forced FC İnFaZ's goalkeeper Sacit Vedat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Gümüşhane's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leon Rik fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Özdemir Özgenc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tamer Yetişbey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC İnFaZ defense, Josué Fernandez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sacit Vedat. The FC İnFaZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sacit Vedat should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Mertcan Kurt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Özdemir Özgenc. Gümüşhane's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mertcan Kurt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Tamer Yetişbey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

51 minutes into the game, Tamer Yetişbey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Özdemir Özgenc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Özdemir Özgenc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mertcan Kurt, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After some careless play in the Gümüşhane defense, Leon Rik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Özdemir Özgenc. The Gümüşhane fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Özdemir Özgenc should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the game, FC İnFaZ's Leon Rik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Özdemir Özgenc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. In the 66th match minute, Gümüşhane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabri Oyhan to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute of the match Mertcan Kurt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Özdemir Özgenc skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to FC İnFaZ getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Rudolf Ahlrot hit a great ball. After 80 minutes, Leon Rik made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gümüşhane's Özdemir Özgenc tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Gümüşhane getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Berke Çetin hit a great ball. Mertcan Kurt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gümüşhane's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tamer Yetişbey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Leon Rik sped through Gümüşhane's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Özdemir Özgenc. When the referee ended the match the FC İnFaZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
