ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's Taha Günden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Altuğ Talay in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mesut Onursu in the 9th minute of play forced ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's goalkeeper Taha Günden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Patrick Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Utku Yuvakuran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taha Günden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mesut Onursu in the 12th minute of play. Taha Günden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Pancu's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After 14 minutes ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Özbek Heper who took care of the corner kick. Patrick Carneiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Utku Yuvakuran when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Utku Yuvakuran made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Eddy Rüegsegger sent off a good shot on target. Eddy Rüegsegger kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Utku Yuvakuran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jani Toppinen in the 26th minute of play. Mesut Onursu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Utku Yuvakuran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrick Carneiro went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 33rd match minute, ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göktürk Tuncal to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the game, Eddy Rüegsegger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ the free kick. A collision led to ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Eddy Rüegsegger hit a great ball. In the 44thth minute of the game Mesut Onursu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's Taha Günden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The wind increased when Mesut Onursu made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hazım Başdoğan was slow to take the kick. During this time ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's players had a chance to rest. ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's Taha Günden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK from getting a goal against them. Taha Günden stood somewhat misplaced when Mesut Onursu came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 60 minute. YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ's Mesut Onursu got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ defense, Eddy Rüegsegger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Utku Yuvakuran. The YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Utku Yuvakuran should have stopped the shot. ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK made a substitution. Karhan İzzettin replaced Eddy Rüegsegger. Utku Yuvakuran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick Carneiro's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Taha Günden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galip Kutalmış in the 80th minute of play. Altuğ Talay came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Taha Günden could save by the left post. 93 minutes into the match, YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Carneiro came free, but Utku Yuvakuran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Altuğ Talay hit a great ball. The ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
