Alp Atasoy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 24 minutes into the match, Karadeniz Fırtınası's goal looked a bit too open when Şinasi Derem came free, but Alp Atasoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Cihat Canbek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Alp Atasoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cihat Canbek in the 43rd minute of the match. Raşit Özdilek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haydar Salim, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Şinasi Derem to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Haydar Salim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raşit Özdilek was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3.
