Art Rhoades made a great header on San Gwann Birlik's corner, it was just that Fırtına 61's Şimşek Orus managed to reach the ball for a save. 9 minutes into the match, San Gwann Birlik's goalkeeper Samim Esentürk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 莫默广. 11 minutes into the match, San Gwann Birlik's goal looked a bit too open when 莫默广 came free, but Samim Esentürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Şanver Ceceli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fırtına 61's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Gwann Birlik the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fırtına 61's Şanver Ceceli got a free kick in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robertas Lewandowski in the 14th minute of play forced San Gwann Birlik's goalkeeper Samim Esentürk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Art Rhoades had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fırtına 61's Şimşek Orus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Cumhur Kemal in the 17th minute of play. Behzat Oğuzbala lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 20th minute, Art Rhoades got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, 莫默广 put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Samim Esentürk. Samim Esentürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jozef Figura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samim Esentürk made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when 莫默广 sent off a good shot on target. In the 40thth minute of the game Necati Bahçeli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Gwann Birlik's Samim Esentürk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Art Rhoades during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fırtına 61 booed when San Gwann Birlik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Art Rhoades didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariusz Kocieniewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ali Vedat Ongul blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Şimşek Orus having to make a save. With a little luck, Fırtına 61's Şimşek Orus got control of the ball when Mariusz Kocieniewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Fırtına 61 fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Fırtına 61's 莫默广 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Mariusz Kocieniewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 莫默广 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samim Esentürk having to make a save. Mustafa Cumhur Kemal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th match minute, Fırtına 61 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jozef Figura to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute Necati Bahçeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samim Esentürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fırtına 61's Şimşek Orus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Fırtına 61 from getting a goal against them. Derviş Ensar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Şimşek Orus made a huge save. Şimşek Orus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Cumhur Kemal in the 77th minute of the match. Rob Tynan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samim Esentürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 莫默广 in the 83rd minute of play. Samim Esentürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 莫默广 in the 84th minute of the match. Jozef Figura scored 3-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samim Esentürk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute Necati Bahçeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samim Esentürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Şimşek Orus successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Necati Bahçeli struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Samim Esentürk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fırtına 61. Fırtına 61 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of San Gwann Birlik for a fine match.
