In the 3rd minute, Hüseyin Rahmi Tankut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Quinteros in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 马誉益 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Gafur Alatay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damaso Arixo was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. With a little luck, BeyoğluJK's 马誉益 got control of the ball when Ediz Tandan tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ignacio Quinteros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 马誉益 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ediz Tandan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
