Spectators: 8019 (Terracing: 6016, Seating: 1844, VIP seats: 159) 5 minutes into the match, Trakyaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Stephan Appiah came free, but Damaso Arixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute Arman Denizalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Arixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ediz Tandan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nihat Mesut firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nihat Mesut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Quinteros's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Pehlivanköy's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ignacio Quinteros fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Stephan Appiah came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Pehlivanköy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stephan Appiah couldn't finish the play. After 55 played minutes Trakyaspor got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Tome. Damaso Arixo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kılıç Özyuva. When Ediz Tandan came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Trakyaspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ediz Tandan couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Rahmi Tankut in the 63rd minute of play forced Pehlivanköy's goalkeeper Nihat Mesut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th match minute, Trakyaspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cihangir Çetinsu to maneuver through the defense. Trakyaspor's Damaso Arixo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tahsin Atacan in the 67th minute of play. If Tahsin Atacan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pehlivanköy's zone, Hüseyin Rahmi Tankut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nihat Mesut came out of the goal and Hüseyin Rahmi Tankut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute, Ignacio Quinteros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Hüseyin Rahmi Tankut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trakyaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Hüseyin Rahmi Tankut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nihat Mesut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th play minute Tahsin Atacan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Damaso Arixo. 1-4. In the 92nd minute, Kılıç Özyuva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Trakyaspor booed when Pehlivanköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arman Denizalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pehlivanköy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
