The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaudencio Orlondon was the one to do the kick off. Peter Schmeichel came out of the goal and Akis Michopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Ledesma made in the 69th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gaudencio Orlondon however managed to control. Peter Schmeichel made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Iskandar de Lara sent off a good shot on target. Iskandar de Lara had several of the Gold Army 1923's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 75 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Peter Schmeichel as he didn't even see the shot coming. 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s Alkın Uğursoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Orlondon in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Gold Army 1923 getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Gaudencio Orlondon hit a great ball. In the 84th minute of the match, Iskandar de Lara got a very nice opportunity to score, but Peter Schmeichel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Iskandar de Lara came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Peter Schmeichel could save by the left post. Although Gold Army 1923 had been in control for most of the match, 1901 Black Stockings F.C. still came away with the win.
