Büyükçekmece FC.'s Cihat Ecemiş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todor Mitrashkov in the 42nd minute of play. Cihat Ecemiş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Todor Mitrashkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Büyükçekmece FC. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Tayfur Demir was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tayfur Demir made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Rahim Niğdeli sent off a good shot on target. Bacary Roudier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cihat Ecemiş having to interfere. Sergio Hug was slow to take the kick. During this time Büyükçekmece FC.'s players had a chance to rest. If Rahim Niğdeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Büyükçekmece FC.'s Burhan Tunçbay quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nano Boninski, made in the 82nd minute of the game. Bacary Roudier made a great header on Aslangücü's corner, it was just that Büyükçekmece FC.'s Cihat Ecemiş managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, Aslangücü's Tayfur Demir got control of the ball when Rahim Niğdeli tried to sneak it across the goal line.
