An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 5th minute of play forced Aslangücü's goalkeeper Tayfur Demir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Olof Vestlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berkem İnan hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Tayfur Demir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 12th minute of play. If Sven-Olof Vestlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tayfur Demir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tayfur Demir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Olof Vestlund's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Aslangücü's Todor Mitrashkov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joar Scheie. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. With a little luck, CAN ERZURUM's Joar Scheie got control of the ball when Nano Boninski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tayfur Demir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 28th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Berkem İnan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Scheie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Aslangücü's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Olof Vestlund came free, but Tayfur Demir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sven-Olof Vestlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aslangücü's Tayfur Demir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute CAN ERZURUM were awarded a corner. Mehmet Poyraz went to the cornerflag to take it. Pan Wei Quan was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Sven-Olof Vestlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAN ERZURUM's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Olof Vestlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tayfur Demir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tayfur Demir came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by CAN ERZURUM's Sven-Olof Vestlund. But to his dismay, Sven-Olof Vestlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Todor Mitrashkov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match CAN ERZURUM got a corner. Aslangücü's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mehmet Poyraz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sven-Olof Vestlund's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Tayfur Demir skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 57th minute Berkem İnan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Scheie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Olof Vestlunds short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Tayfur Demir to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tayfur Demir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Olof Vestlund's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. If Sven-Olof Vestlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CAN ERZURUM made a substitution. Latif Baltacı replaced Hüsrev Özyay. The crowd rose to their feet as CAN ERZURUM's Sven-Olof Vestlund slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tayfur Demir. That made the score 1-2 after 69 minutes of play. If Mehmet Şefik Karadağ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Sven-Olof Vestlund took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Tayfur Demir to make any attempt to save it. 81 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goal looked a bit too open when Nano Boninski came free, but Joar Scheie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aslangücü's Tayfur Demir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Aslangücü from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Aslangücü's zone, Sven-Olof Vestlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayfur Demir came out of the goal and Sven-Olof Vestlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, CAN ERZURUM's Mehmet Poyraz got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 92 played minutes CAN ERZURUM got a freekick which was hit by Steven Spielberg. When Bacary Roudier came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Aslangücü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bacary Roudier couldn't finish the play. The CAN ERZURUM players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
