Alejo Otsando struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Ulises Marquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trabzonspor. After 8 minutes Trabzonspor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arda Baybars Arslanoğlu who took care of the corner kick. Arda Baybars Arslanoğlu made a great header on mesehor FC's corner, it was just that Trabzonspor's Yunus Civan managed to reach the ball for a save. 13 minutes into the match, mesehor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Otsando came free, but Ulises Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. mesehor FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ademar de Godoi got free with Yunus Civan in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute Naim Süleymanoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yunus Civan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulises Marquez came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Trabzonspor's Alejo Otsando. But to his dismay, Alejo Otsando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Demiralp Akar kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 46th minute of the match Arda Baybars Arslanoğlu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yunus Civan skillfully saved the ball. Trabzonspor's Yunus Civan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar de Godoi in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 51st match minute, mesehor FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peyami Keçeli to maneuver through the defense. When Ademar de Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the mesehor FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ademar de Godoi couldn't finish the play. The supporters of mesehor FC booed when Trabzonspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Turgut Kocak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ademar de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Yunus Civan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind mesehor FC's goalkeeper Ulises Marquez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th minute of the match Trabzonspor got a corner. mesehor FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bedrettin Özaktuğ ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bedrettin Özaktuğ made a great header on Trabzonspor's corner, it was just that mesehor FC's Ulises Marquez managed to reach the ball for a save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Trabzonspor walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
