Sinan Erzincanlı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The Küçükdere SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Halis Secaattin should have stopped the shot. Halis Secaattin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saffet Heybetli in the 83rd minute of the match. After 87 played minutes Yeniçeriler got a freekick which was hit by Ntinos Psikos. Fazıl Tekrim struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Halis Secaattin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yeniçeriler. Gürsel Eyüp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kamuran Kayaer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Fazıl Tekrim sped through Küçükdere SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Halis Secaattin. Yeniçeriler played a much better game than Küçükdere SK and deserved their victory. The Küçükdere SK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
