In the 5th minute, Baba Yorgun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Türkeş Akşit in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giannis Papadas saved KOCAELİSPOR from getting behind. 12 minutes into the game, Türkeş Akşit cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Giannis Papadas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Türkeş Akşit in the 18th minute of play forced KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper Giannis Papadas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giannis Papadas came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Andırın SK's Türkeş Akşit. But to his dismay, Türkeş Akşit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Türkeş Akşit took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giannis Papadas. Giannis Papadas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. With a little luck, Andırın SK's Farid Mondragon got control of the ball when Ömer Demirci tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Andırın SK made a substitution. Olaf Jarosz replaced Burhanettin Baykam. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olaf Jarosz made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Seyfullah Tuğsavan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute Ömer Demirci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farid Mondragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Türkeş Uğuralp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Giannis Papadas made a huge save. Farid Mondragon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömer Demirci in the 59th minute of play. Türkeş Uğuralp's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Giannis Papadas firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Olaf Jarosz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The supporters of KOCAELİSPOR booed when Andırın SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Halis İley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giannis Papadas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batıhan Saik in the 82nd minute of the match. Batıhan Saik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Papadas having to interfere. Tenyo Tikvanov hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Farid Mondragon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aşır Zabit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KOCAELİSPOR's Giannis Papadas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save KOCAELİSPOR from getting a goal against them.
