The crowd rose to their feet as Abdi Mehmet Kornes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andoni Zubizarreta. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Andoni Zubizarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Mehmet Kornes in the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Predators's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Osvaldinho Arce was slow to take the kick. During this time Gold Raiders FC's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Gold Raiders FC's Atacan Toralp got a free kick in the 16th minute. Ronan Mullen kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Andoni Zubizarreta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdi Mehmet Kornes, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute of the match, Turgut Turgut got a very nice opportunity to score, but Andoni Zubizarreta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 25th minute Gold Raiders FC were awarded a corner. Osvaldinho Arce went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Gold Raiders FC's Turgut Turgut getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Arkın Gariboğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Salas in the 29th minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Predators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tümer Gülsoy to maneuver through the defense. Arkın Gariboğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Etoo in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match Predators got a corner. Gold Raiders FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gylippus Nikolakakos ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Çakır Yağızbay almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gold Raiders FC's Arkın Gariboğlu did a great save. Andoni Zubizarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rupert Hermes in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Gold Raiders FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Etoo came free, but Arkın Gariboğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Predators's Andoni Zubizarreta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Predators from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Andoni Zubizarreta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Ertaç Budak fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gold Raiders FC's protests and gave Ertaç Budak a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Predators booed when Gold Raiders FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ertaç Budak didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdi Mehmet Kornes made a kick off. If Abdi Mehmet Kornes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andoni Zubizarreta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdi Mehmet Kornes's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Arkın Gariboğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronan Mullen in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Etoo in the 63rd minute of play forced Gold Raiders FC's goalkeeper Arkın Gariboğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andoni Zubizarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rupert Hermes in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Predators getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ronan Mullen hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the match, Samuel Etoo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arkın Gariboğlu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcelo Salas scored 1-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arkın Gariboğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Predators's Andoni Zubizarreta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdi Mehmet Kornes in the 78th minute of play. Andoni Zubizarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdi Mehmet Kornes in the 80th minute of play. With a little luck, Gold Raiders FC's Arkın Gariboğlu got control of the ball when Ronan Mullen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gold Raiders FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
