Spectators: 10922 (Terracing: 8193, Seating: 2511, VIP seats: 218) Berke Gümüşsoy started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. AYAZAĞA FK's Atabek Makbul got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Berke Gümüşsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 played minutes BEŞİKTAŞK got a freekick which was hit by Ayrton Senna. Aşık Tunçdağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berke Gümüşsoy in the 31st minute of the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Berke Gümüşsoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BEŞİKTAŞK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berke Gümüşsoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aşık Tunçdağ came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by BEŞİKTAŞK's Berke Gümüşsoy. But to his dismay, Berke Gümüşsoy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

AYAZAĞA FK's Abdulaziz Bender was substituted for İrfan Sancar. The audience was convinced that Berke Gümüşsoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aşık Tunçdağ was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. BEŞİKTAŞK's Okan Koc was substituted for Vicente Arias. BEŞİKTAŞK made a substitution. Zlatin Ibrahimović replaced Berke Gümüşsoy. Okan Koc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Zlatin Ibrahimović recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aşık Tunçdağ. Zlatin Ibrahimović showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Arda Göksel Yalman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atabek Makbul, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. AYAZAĞA FK's Aşık Tunçdağ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chen Jun Yan in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, BEŞİKTAŞK's goal looked a bit too open when Atabek Makbul came free, but Arda Göksel Yalman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chen Jun Yan got free with Aşık Tunçdağ in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th minute of the match BEŞİKTAŞK got a corner. AYAZAĞA FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valdemar Almkvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, AYAZAĞA FK's Aşık Tunçdağ got control of the ball when Okan Koc tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arda Göksel Yalman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leszek Kornasiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Çakır Acunman's late challenge caught a BEŞİKTAŞK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Çakır Acunman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of BEŞİKTAŞK booed when AYAZAĞA FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çakır Acunman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aşık Tunçdağ came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by BEŞİKTAŞK's Okan Koc. But to his dismay, Okan Koc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The BEŞİKTAŞK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
