Spectators: 5001 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abdul Mohsen Al Balool got the match started through his kick off. In the 10th minute Esmael Al Baghli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ayman Al Naqi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daut Shoshi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Firas Al Qattan having to interfere. Ipplepen's Awwad Abol quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Yazeed Mandane, made in the 13th minute of the game. Fared Al Kandere might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Firas Al Qattan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fared Al Kandere ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Ipplepen's Firas Al Qattan threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fared Al Kandere, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 16 played minutes Ipplepen got a freekick which was hit by Awwad Abol. Firas Al Qattan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fared Al Kandere in the 19th minute of the match. Ayman Al Naqi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdul Mohsen Al Balool in the 22nd minute of play. Khalaf Al Muwail was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 29 minutes into the match, Daut Shoshi notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Horbury's Firas Al Qattan. Firas Al Qattan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Firas Al Qattan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fared Al Kandere, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Fared Al Kandere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute of the match Haider Al Khaled sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Firas Al Qattan skillfully saved the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Horbury's goalkeeper Firas Al Qattan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fared Al Kandere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

If Fared Al Kandere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th match minute, Ipplepen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Awwad Abol to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fared Al Kandere in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Firas Al Qattan saved Horbury from getting behind. Firas Al Qattan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daut Shoshi, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Ayman Al Naqi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esmael Al Baghli, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 87th minute, Aesem Al Mothaf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daut Shoshi struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ipplepen fans cheered their team off the field, for while Horbury had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
