FC Medina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sharf Al Mofede was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ayoob Taiban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krisztián Horváth, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Jassem Al Asuosi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayoob Taiban having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Medina's Sharf Al Mofede slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ayoob Taiban. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. FC Medina's Jassem Al Asuosi got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ayoob Taiban stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sharf Al Mofede's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After 15 minutes, Hakem Al Homaithe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Penistone and the FC Medina players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Penistone fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Krisztián Horváth managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Medina's supporters rose to their feet, but Krisztián Horváth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ayoob Taiban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nizar Khaja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sadeq Al Ali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ayoob Taiban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sharf Al Mofede in the 27th minute of the match. When Sharf Al Mofede came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the FC Medina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sharf Al Mofede couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nizar Khaja to strike the kick off in the second half. Sadeq Al Ali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sharf Al Mofede recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sadeq Al Ali took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ayoob Taiban. Ayoob Taiban dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Sharf Al Mofede struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Ayoob Taiban didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Medina. Krisztián Horváth scored 6-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ayoob Taiban, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sharf Al Mofede succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 7-0. Ayoob Taiban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sharf Al Mofede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Krisztián Horváth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ayoob Taiban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarah Shrean charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarah Shrean the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Penistone's Jarah Shrean got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Sharf Al Mofede got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sharf Al Mofede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Sadeq Al Ali made a precise shot to the right of Ayoob Taiban. Penistone's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. The audience was convinced that Sadeq Al Ali's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ayoob Taiban was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Penistone's Ayoob Taiban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sharf Al Mofede in the 97th minute of play.
