Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) FC Medina's Sharf Al Mofede started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Shoeburyness City's Darweesh Dehrab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sharf Al Mofede in the 3rd minute of play. But to his dismay, Sharf Al Mofede quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 15th minute Krisztián Horváth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darweesh Dehrab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Sami Al Ammar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Medina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shoeburyness City the free kick. The coaching staff of Shoeburyness City protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nayef Al Harban had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 23rd minute, one of Shoeburyness City:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Shoeburyness City. Shoeburyness City's Darweesh Dehrab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krisztián Horváth in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, FC Medina's Sadeq Al Ali nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Darweesh Dehrab made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After a rather tough play, Shoeburyness City's Falah Al Sharaf got a free kick in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Shoeburyness City's zone, Sharf Al Mofede stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darweesh Dehrab came out of the goal and Sharf Al Mofede tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Darweesh Dehrab didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Medina's Sharf Al Mofede shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-6 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 43rdth minute of the game Krisztián Horváth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shoeburyness City's Darweesh Dehrab was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th minute, Khalefa Shabakhoh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sadeq Al Ali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half FC Medina were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Habib Al Adsani made the kick off in the second half. Sharf Al Mofede received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. FC Medina's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
