If Bader Al Hadhod had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Mubarek Al Qattamy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oun Shadad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luai Al Dekhel in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Taqi Al Arbash made the kick off in the second half. Crystal Palace FC were furious when Waleed Al Wazan was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Belal Bo Abbas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crystal Palace FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Belal Bo Abbas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taqi Al Arbash sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oun Al Khames made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bader Al Hadhod in the 98th minute of play. When Camborne AFC's Taqi Al Arbash in the 99th minute got a chance for a shot 99th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Crystal Palace FC's goalie prevented a goal.
