Jacinto Espinoza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doaej Al Gareb's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Khalefa Al Rifaee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pankracy Zatorski, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Pankracy Zatorski sped through DES HUN FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Khalefa Al Rifaee. In the 14th minute Basel Al Balool shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalefa Al Rifaee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th match minute, DES HUN FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rashed Al Sarraf to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Ad Academy's Jacinto Espinoza got control of the ball when Rashed Al Sarraf tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basel Al Balool in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Khalefa Al Rifaee saved DES HUN FC from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, DES HUN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pankracy Zatorski came free, but Khalefa Al Rifaee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by DES HUN FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arne Möller was slow to take the kick. During this time Ad Academy's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Basel Al Balool almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DES HUN FC's Khalefa Al Rifaee did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tamem Shams in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Espinoza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the match, Basel Al Balool had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Khalefa Al Rifaee. DES HUN FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basel Al Balool was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. DES HUN FC's Khalefa Al Rifaee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basel Al Balool in the 33rd minute of play. The attack was good, but when Rashed Al Sarraf in the 42nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Jacinto Espinoza was a little too slow when Doaej Al Gareb got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basel Al Balool was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Ad Academy's Ivo Amaro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ivo Amaro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ad Academy protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ivo Amaro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jacinto Espinoza had in the 55thth minute some difficulties stopping Rashed Al Sarraf's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rashed Al Sarraf in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Espinoza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Farhan Al Fadhalah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Khalefa Al Rifaee read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, DES HUN FC's Rashed Al Sarraf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto Espinoza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 70 minutes into the match, Basel Al Balool dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Khalefa Al Rifaee, 3-3. Khalefa Al Rifaee made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Basel Al Balool sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in DES HUN FC's zone, Farhan Al Fadhalah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Khalefa Al Rifaee came out of the goal and Farhan Al Fadhalah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, Basel Al Balool dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Khalefa Al Rifaee, 3-4. Arne Möller hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Ad Academy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
