In the 8th minute, Denis Fomin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of BK Pugino booed when Norilsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Klarin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, David Ivannikov managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Pugino's supporters rose to their feet, but David Ivannikov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Innokentiy Bocharnikov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Innokentiy Bocharnikov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Fomin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15thth minute of the game Denis Fomin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Norilsk's Innokentiy Bocharnikov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute Denis Fomin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Innokentiy Bocharnikov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Norilsk's zone, David Ivannikov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Innokentiy Bocharnikov came out of the goal and David Ivannikov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th match minute, Norilsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstantin Samoilov to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Ivannikov got free with Innokentiy Bocharnikov in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Innokentiy Bocharnikov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Fomin in the 38th minute of play. Denis Fomin struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Innokentiy Bocharnikov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Pugino. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Filimon Aksenov made the kick off in the second half. When Norilsk's Filimon Aksenov in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BK Pugino's goalie prevented a goal. In the 54th minute, David Ivannikov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grigoriy Ivashov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nikolay Akinfeev having to make a save. Innokentiy Bocharnikov came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by BK Pugino's David Ivannikov. But to his dismay, David Ivannikov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 74 minutes into the match, Norilsk's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Fomin came free, but Innokentiy Bocharnikov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Ivannikov struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Innokentiy Bocharnikov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Pugino. Nikolay Akinfeev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filimon Aksenov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BK Pugino's Nikolay Akinfeev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save BK Pugino from getting a goal against them. David Ivannikov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute Filimon Aksenov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolay Akinfeev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of BK Pugino booed when Norilsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artem Yakovlev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Norilsk's goalkeeper Innokentiy Bocharnikov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Denis Fomin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
