Andrey Izotov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Bubeník, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roman Babel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Larionov in the 30th minute of the match. Porfiriy Lubenskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrey Izotov having to interfere. Roman Babel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Larionov in the 43rd minute of the match. FC LARISSA Ivanovo's Roman Babel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Larionov in the 48th minute of play. The FC LARISSA Ivanovo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ROTOR were winning 1-2.

Roman Babel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aleksey Legasov. Artem Ovchinnikov charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artem Ovchinnikov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC LARISSA Ivanovo booed when ROTOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artem Ovchinnikov didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Innokentiy Byshovets in the 61st minute of play forced ROTOR's goalkeeper Andrey Izotov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dmitriy Lodygin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ROTOR's Dmitriy Lodygin got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roman Larionov did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Roman Babel 78 minutes into the match. During the 82nd minute of the match Artem Ovchinnikov completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Artem Ovchinnikov a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of FC LARISSA Ivanovo booed when ROTOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artem Ovchinnikov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 played minutes ROTOR got a freekick which was hit by Laur Vabadus. 86 minutes into the match, ROTOR's goal looked a bit too open when Zinoviy Chupyatov came free, but Andrey Izotov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrey Izotov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porfiriy Lubenskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, ROTOR's Laur Vabadus got a free kick in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Porfiriy Lubenskiy in the 93rd minute of play forced ROTOR's goalkeeper Andrey Izotov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Although FC LARISSA Ivanovo had been in control for most of the match, ROTOR still came away with the win.
