Dmitriy Lodygin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrey Izotov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porfiriy Lubenskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 17th minute Porfiriy Lubenskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrey Izotov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC LARISSA Ivanovo booed when ROTOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Bobrov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lauren Elsen, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Roman Babel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Larionov in the 23rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, ROTOR's Roman Babel threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roman Larionov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 26th minute Porfiriy Lubenskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrey Izotov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Larionov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Roman Babel made a huge save. After having played for 30 minutes, Dmitriy Abramov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC LARISSA Ivanovo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dmitriy Abramov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the game, FC LARISSA Ivanovo's Eugen Bubeník nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

FC LARISSA Ivanovo's Zinoviy Chupyatov was substituted for Lauren Elsen. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Porfiriy Lubenskiy made a kick off. Rostislav Levinzon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Timur Denisov ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 76 minutes, Porfiriy Lubenskiy made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. ROTOR's Andrey Izotov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute of the match FC LARISSA Ivanovo got a corner. A nice corner shot did that Porfiriy Lubenskiy got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andrey Izotov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to ROTOR getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Roman Larionov hit a great ball. Vyacheslav Velikanov hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Roman Babel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timur Denisov in the 92nd minute of play. FC LARISSA Ivanovo played a much better game than ROTOR and deserved their victory. The ROTOR players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
