Andrey Dvoryankin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Savva Evdokimov, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Konstantin Perfilov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Paganelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afanasiy Shefner in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arkhip Ilyin in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Paganelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ernesto Paganelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arkhip Ilyin's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Vyacheslav Korolev scored 5-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Paganelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Arsenal F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
