The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Ghanim Abol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Malik Taqi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darweesh Al Dekhel, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute, Darweesh Al Dekhel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Malik Taqi, passed just outside the right post. Esmael Taiban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khaled Al Sherazi in the 17th minute of the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Khaled Al Sherazi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Made In Kuwait's Esmael Taiban was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Malik Taqi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darweesh Al Dekhel in the 36th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hale City's zone, Darweesh Al Dekhel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Malik Taqi came out of the goal and Darweesh Al Dekhel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute Darweesh Al Dekhel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malik Taqi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 48 minutes, Darweesh Al Dekhel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Made In Kuwait's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darweesh Al Dekhel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Darweesh Al Dekhel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Khaled Al Sherazi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esmael Taiban having to interfere. Ghanim Abol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ghanim Abol struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Malik Taqi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Made In Kuwait. After a defensive mix-up in Hale City's zone, Ghanim Abol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Malik Taqi came out of the goal and Ghanim Abol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Made In Kuwait booed when Hale City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Najim Al Homaithe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 minutes, Shaker Al Rodhan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hale City and the Made In Kuwait players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Hale City getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Shaker Al Rodhan hit a great ball. The supporters of Hale City booed when Made In Kuwait was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shehab Ashkanani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ghanim Abol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Malik Taqi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ghanim Abol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malik Taqi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hale City's Farooq Al Khames got a free kick in the 80th minute. Made In Kuwait's Esmael Taiban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khaled Al Sherazi in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Made In Kuwait was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Awwad Al Ateqi to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Hale City's Shaker Al Rodhan got a free kick in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Darweesh Al Dekhel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Malik Taqi. Hale City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Darweesh Al Dekhel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 97th minute Ghanim Abol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malik Taqi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hale City's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
