Yasen Khorshed took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saif Al Hajri. Saif Al Hajri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Yasen Khorshed could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Saif Al Hajri made a huge save. When Manaf Al Najdi fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Horsham AFC's protests and gave Manaf Al Najdi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Manaf Al Najdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Real Madrid's Yasen Khorshed came free and shot a quick shot against goal 21 minutes in the game, fortunately Saif Al Hajri had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 24th match minute, Real Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basel Abol to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Saif Al Hajri successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Horsham AFC's Saif Al Hajri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mosa Al Sallal in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Morad Bo Abbas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fahad Al Besher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mohammad Al Ammar fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Basel Abol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Saif Al Hajri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yasen Khorshed's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Saif Al Hajri firmly grabbed it by the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mosa Al Sallal made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Yasser Al Dowaisan came free, but Fahad Al Besher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 52 minutes of play, Horsham AFC's Yasser Al Dowaisan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fahad Al Besher was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fahhad Al Rodhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yasen Khorshed took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saif Al Hajri. Saif Al Hajri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Real Madrid's Yasen Khorshed got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Horsham AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mosa Al Sallal came free, but Saif Al Hajri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gawhar Al Matrok kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Horsham AFC's Saif Al Hajri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mosa Al Sallal in the 86th minute of play. If Gawhar Al Matrok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Yasen Khorshed hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fahhad Al Rodhan came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Horsham AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fahhad Al Rodhan couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute Mosa Al Sallal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saif Al Hajri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fahhad Al Rodhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Horsham AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Real Madrid.
