An unexpectedly hard shot by Eyad Al Ansari in the 5th minute of play forced Horsham AFC's goalkeeper Saif Al Hajri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wael Abol got free with Saif Al Hajri in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fahhad Al Rodhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Gibrel Abol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fahhad Al Rodhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dunton Bassett's Eyad Al Ansari got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eyad Al Ansari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gibrel Abol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fahhad Al Rodhan in the 17th minute of play. If Morad Bo Abbas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 minutes of play, Dunton Bassett's Wael Abol made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saif Al Hajri was left in no man's land by his defense there! 26 minutes into the game, Horsham AFC's Fahhad Al Rodhan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gibrel Abol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Morad Bo Abbas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 31st minute, Fahhad Al Rodhan made a precise shot to the right of Gibrel Abol. Dunton Bassett's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Wael Abol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Fahhad Al Rodhan made the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Riad Al Abdullah put in a rough tackle. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Horsham AFC! In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Dunton Bassett. Nemir Kakoli stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Saif Al Hajri. 3-2. Eyad Al Ansari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Saif Al Hajri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saif Al Hajri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eyad Al Ansari in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fahhad Al Rodhan in the 72nd minute of play forced Dunton Bassett's goalkeeper Gibrel Abol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamdan Dashti might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saif Al Hajri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hamdan Dashti ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eyad Al Ansari in the 80th minute of play forced Horsham AFC's goalkeeper Saif Al Hajri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saif Al Hajri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wael Abol in the 81st minute of play. Wael Abol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Saif Al Hajri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Horsham AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eyad Al Ansari came free, but Saif Al Hajri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horsham AFC's Saif Al Hajri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wael Abol in the 93rd minute of play. Fahhad Al Rodhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gibrel Abol having to interfere. Saif Al Hajri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eyad Al Ansari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wael Abol in the 101st minute of play forced Horsham AFC's goalkeeper Saif Al Hajri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dunton Bassett were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Horsham AFC for a fine match.
