The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Slim Team's Yobes Waruinge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Slim Team from getting a goal against them. In the 7th minute, Tibúrcio Massa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yobes Waruinge was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of All Starss Top booed when Slim Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mo Kobia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Slim Team's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tibúrcio Massa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Tibúrcio Massa took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Yobes Waruinge to make any attempt to save it. Tibúrcio Massa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Yobes Waruinge when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Slim Team's Yobes Waruinge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Slim Team from getting a goal against them. Vincent Birir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yobes Waruinge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Vincent Birir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yobes Waruinge having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agnaldo Rodrigues in the 29th minute of play forced Slim Team's goalkeeper Yobes Waruinge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, All Starss Top was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Birir to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Myles Masai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Slim Team's goalkeeper Yobes Waruinge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tibúrcio Massa. Slim Team's Yobes Waruinge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Slim Team from getting a goal against them. Yobes Waruinge made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Tibúrcio Massa sent off a good shot on target. Tibúrcio Massa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Yobes Waruinge skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vincent Birir to strike the kick off in the second half. Yobes Waruinge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vincent Birir went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute, Tibúrcio Massa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yobes Waruinge was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Vincent Birir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yobes Waruinge having to interfere. Daniel Kipchirchir Mutheu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Francis Kipsos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, All Starss Top was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ondoro Rono to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Kimutai Kimathi hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Yobes Waruinge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdilatif Osoro in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Slim Team getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Mo Kobia hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Slim Team's zone, Tibúrcio Massa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yobes Waruinge came out of the goal and Tibúrcio Massa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, John Kiplagat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julius Sulumeti hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute Tibúrcio Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yobes Waruinge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Slim Team's Norbert Matiba got a free kick in the 94th minute. When All Starss Top's Tibúrcio Massa in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Slim Team's goalkeeper Yobes Waruinge, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. All Starss Top fully deserved thier win.
