Joseph Dawkins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Hassan in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joseph Dawkins saved Seascale from getting behind. Joseph Dawkins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Hassan's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Julius Hassan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Dawkins having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robert Hassan to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Alfie in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. It was a penalty for York! York's Waruhiu Kipkoech pulled a muscle in his back after 93 minutes and couldn't finish the game. York were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Seascale for a fine match.
