Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Crewe United's zone, William Ogot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevin Ogot came out of the goal and William Ogot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Wilson Lagat fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crewe United's protests and gave Wilson Lagat a yellow card for diving instead. After 6 played minutes Crewe United got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Lagat. Kevin Ogot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Imathiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. William Ogot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Kevin Ogot made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Wilson Lagat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Kanana took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sammy Waheto. Sammy Waheto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hextable's Sammy Waheto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyrus Musyoka in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Imathiu in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kevin Ogot saved Crewe United from getting behind. Sammy Waheto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Githinji Akoth in the 27th minute of play. William Ogot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kevin Ogot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute Victor Imathiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Ogot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Hextable's goal looked a bit too open when Githinji Akoth came free, but Sammy Waheto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Ogot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Kevin Ogot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevin Ogot was a little too slow when Victor Imathiu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-1. A collision led to Hextable getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Dan Otieno hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Cyrus Musyoka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sammy Waheto was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Oburu Kosgei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Ogot having to interfere. After having played for 56 minutes, Githinji Akoth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crewe United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Githinji Akoth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Crewe United's goalkeeper Kevin Ogot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Crewe United's Cyrus Musyoka in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hextable's goalie prevented a goal. Hextable's Sammy Waheto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyrus Musyoka in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Hextable's goalkeeper Sammy Waheto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Githinji Akoth. Sammy Waheto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyrus Musyoka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If William Ogot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Githinji Akoth was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Dan Otieno hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If Githinji Akoth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cyrus Musyoka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sammy Waheto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Crewe United's Kevin Ogot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Ogot in the 88th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Musa Bungei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hextable and the Crewe United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Musa Bungei hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Cyrus Musyoka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Imathiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kevin Ogot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Imathiu ran back to his position shaking his head. The Crewe United players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Hextable from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
