Sammy Waheto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harilal Owino, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Imathiu to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Imathiu in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elijah Valdo saved Silver Arrows FC from getting behind. After 59 minutes of play, Hextable's Victor Imathiu made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elijah Valdo was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Silver Arrows FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Willis Wambui hit a great ball. Victor Imathiu kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Christopher Maathai's late challenge caught a Hextable's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christopher Maathai helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Silver Arrows FC's Christopher Maathai got a free kick in the 65th minute. William Ogot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elijah Valdo having to interfere. Samuel Akinyi kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Vincent Biwott managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
